Morzine is an archetypal ski resort, but when the snow melted, it is still a major attraction for tourists because of the abundance of summer alpine activities. This is largely due to the situation in the north of the Alps, which guarantees plenty of snow in winter and lush, green vegetation in summer. The stunning views in every season of the ends of the weather intensified.
Since the city has about 3,000 inhabitants, it has designed to move up a year-round appeal. The summer season has also hosted numerous sporting events including MTB World Cup, Mont Blanc Rally and the Tour de France, returning to Morzine-Avoriaz is 11 July to 13, 2010 for grades 8 and 9
If you are an adrenaline junkie and prefer a more relaxed holiday, Morzine offers for you. It has eleven tennis courts, an Olympic swimming pool, a skating rink, two golf courses, Summer Toboggan run and there is also an aqua park nearby.
